Cyriocosmus sellatus (Simon, 1889)

Hapalopus sellatus Simon, 1889: 218 . Holotype female, MNHN 8102, from Upper Amazonas, Brazil and male and female paratypes from same locality (MNHN 8102) without further information, examined.

Diagnosis: The species can be distinguished from all the other species, except C. versicolor and C. bertae, by not having a striped pattern on the dorsal abdomen (Fig. 49). The female differs from C. versicolor by the homogeneous color pattern of the cephalothorax. The male can be distinguished from C. bertae and C. versicolor by having a long paraembolic apophysis (Figs 19, 20).
