Chorotype. Endemic Maghrebian.

Distribution in North Africa. Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia (Jäch & Skale 2015).

Moroccan distribution. Rif and Pré-Rif: Al Hoceima and Taza (Bennas et al. 2001). Central Plateau: Rabat, Kénitra (Orchymont 1935, 1942; Kocher 1958) and Casablanca (Orchymont 1935). Middle Atlas: Fès (Orchymont 1942; Kocher 1958). High Atlas: Marrakech (Orchymont 1942; Kocher 1958) and Essaouira (Orchymont 1935, 1942). Anti Atlas: Agadir Ida-Outanane (Orchymont 1942; Kocher 1958).
