Ochthebius (Asiobates) maculatus gr

Chorotype. Mediterranean

Remark. Because of the similarity in distal lobe shape of the male aedeagus, we firstly considered this species as Ochthebius avdati Delgado & Jäch, 2007 . However, after reviewer recommendation, we decided to refer it as Ochthebius (Asiobates) maculatus gr, waiting for future studies with new material that will help as to ascertain its real taxonomic status.
