Microperus leprosulus (Schedl): Saha & Maiti 1996: 827. [as synonym of M. undulatus (Sampson, 1919)]

Remarks. This species was previously placed in synonymy with Microperus undulatus (Sampson, 1919) by Wood (1989: 171) without comment. The paralectotype (NHMUK) and images of the lectotype (NHMW) were compared with the holotype of M. undulatus (Sampson, 1919) (NHMUK) and were found to be distinctly different, most notably with M. undulatus having a saddle-like impression on the elytral disc.

Distribution. West Malaysia, Thailand.
