Xyleborus obiensis Browne, 1980a: 375 .

Remarks. The holotype (NHMUK) and two paratypes (NUFM) were examined. The species is transferred to Cyclorhipidion because of the characteristics listed for C. inaequale and is here transferred to that genus.

Distribution. Indonesia (Maluku: Obi I.).
