Remarks. The location of Lea’s syntypes is not known (Wood & Bright 1992), but specimens from Australia determined by Schedl (NHMW), and by Browne and others (NHMUK), have been examined by RAB. The species has the characteristics of Ambrosiophilus given above for A. bispinosulus and is here transferred to that genus.
