Bahía Magdalena, southern Baja California (De La Cruz-Agüero et al. 1994) to Paita, Peru (Chirichigno and Vélez 1998), and Gulf of California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California).
