Western and eastern Bering Sea, and eastern Aleutian Islands (Mecklenburg et al. 2011) to central California (34°34’N) (Weinberg et al. 2002). Benthic; depth: 2 or less to 973 m (7–3,192 ft) (min.: Miller et al. 1977; max.: Allen and Smith 1988).
