Distribution
China (Yunnan), Thailand, Laos. This species is recorded for the first time from China.
Remarks
Aetheomorpha furcata Medvedev and Kantner, 2002 is close to A. decemnotata (Jacoby, 1892) in the colour pattern: the pronotum is completely fulvous and elytron is covered with four black spots. The obviously broad bidentate aedeagal apex is a useful character by which to recognize A. furcata Medvedev and Kantner. Moreover, this species also has the following characters: vertex and scutellum fulvous, body more slender, spermathecal duct very long, loosely coiled dozens of times with a thickened base. Moreover, the dorsal rectal sclerites are different from those in the other congeneric species, central sclerite is semicircular, lateral ones are sub-triangular.
