Rhogogastera aenescens Mocsáry, 1909

A junior subjective synonym of Tenthredo (Temuledo) finschi finschi W.F. Kirby, 1882, syn. nov.

TYPES. Rhogogastera aenescens Mocsáry, 1909: 19 . Syntype (s) Ƥ, “Sibiria orientalis: Ussuri (Kasakewitsh).”. Lectotype Ƥ, hereby designated (Fig. 1). Type locality: “Ussuri Kasakewitsch” [= Russia: Khabarovskiy Kray: Kazakevichevo].

DISCUSSION. After its description, Rhogogastera aenescens has apparently not been mentioned in the literature except by Taeger et al. (2010: 580). One female was found under this name in the HNHM collection (Fig. 1). As Mocsáry did not state the number of specimens, this specimen is selected as the lectotype. It belongs without doubt to Tenthredo (Temuledo) finschi .
