Halobatopsis platensis (Berg, 1879)

Halobatopsis platensis: Bianchi 1896: 70 (changed combination).

Identification. Our female specimens were identified based on the presence of longitudinal, lateral black stripes on the mesonotum; and the abdominal laterotergites slightly elevated, not reflected over the abdomen (Figs. 11A, C) (Nieser & Melo 1999).

Material examined. BRAZIL, Rio Grande do Norte: Canguaretama, Rio Curimataú, 6°24’13.7”S, 35°08’03.8”W, 31-X-2020, R . P. R. Canejo leg. (2♀ apterous CEAAVF) .
