Rheumatobates crassifemur schroederi Hungerford, 1954: 566–567 (original description).

Identification. Our specimens were identified based on the males having an uniform row of setae on the dorsolateral margin of antennomere IV; the hind trochanter incrassate, as thick as the hind coxa, and not armed; the hind femur without a T-shaped or anchor-shaped structure on its mesal surface; and the hind trochanter joined beyond the base of the femur and not densely margined with long setae on the basal lobe (Figs. 10A–C) (Hungerford 1954).
