Neogerris lubricus: Andersen 1975: 22–23 ( Gerrinae generic reclassification, changed combination).
Identification: Our specimens were identified based on the body length of apterous specimens less than 7 mm, the macropterous specimens less than 8 mm long; the pronotum of apterous forms reaching the metanotum (Figs. 5A, C), and male abdominal tergum VIII narrow, slightly converging posteriorly, with the posterior margin convex, slightly notched (Fig. 5A) (Nieser 1994).
