Remarks. Homalium obesum was originallly described from “Sumatra: région de Deli, dans des tabacs importés”. Steel (1960) redescribed it, designated the lectotype, provided figures of the aedeagus and the female accessory sclerite, and recorded it from Java, Sarawak and Luzon. Phloeonomus densepunctatus Bernhauer, 1915 was originally described from “ Sarawak: Mt. Matang”. Steel (1960) synonymized it with P. obesa . Paraphloeostiba obesa is known from Indonesia, Malaysia (including Sabah) and Philippines (Herman 2001). Habitus as in Fig. 34.
