Holotype: ♂. MEXICO: Chiapas, Simojovel, 16/I/1958. Col. J. A. Chemsak. Conservation status: Complete, well-preserved; genitalia glued on a triangle. Additional notes: The current name of this species is Paraplateros reyesi (Zaragoza-Caballero, 1999) (see Kazantzev, 2011).
