Distribution in America. Mexico, Cuba, Ecuador and Brazil.
Diagnosis. Promargin of chelicerae with a series of six to seven teeth reaching the lamina (Figs 4, 12). Tracheal spiracle between the epigastric fold and spinnerets. Carapace slightly longer than wide (Fig. 1). Clypeus almost vertical, short (1 to 3 x PME); tip of labium notched. Legs short (Fig. 1). Male palpal tibia without apophysis; palpal cymbium without prolateral extension; male palpal bulb spherical or oval, embolus with associated sclerites (Figs 3, 8, 9).
