TYPE LOCALITY: Philippines, Mindanao, near Zamboanga .

DISTRIBUTION: Philippines.

COMMENT: Includes capita; see Lawrence, 1939, Bull. Mus. Comp. Zool., 86:42. Corbet and Hill, 1980:45, listed capito as a distinct species without comment. Probably a subspecies of saccolaimus (KFK).
