Family Haplobainosomatidae Verhoeff, 1909

All 19 species are endemic in the Iberian Peninsula or the Pyrenees; Haplobainosoma lusitanum is one of the few chordeumatidans which have been introduced to Macaronesia, in casu the Azores.
