Isthmolongispora ampulliformis (Tubaki) de Hoog & Hennebert, Proc. K. Ned. Akad. Wet., Ser. C, Biol. Med. Sci. 86(3): 346 (1983)
Diplorhinotrichum ampulliforme Tubaki, J. Hattori bot. Lab. 20: 159 (1958)
Description.
Matsush. 1975
Notes.
Antidactylaria ampulliforma was originally isolated by Tubaki from leaves of Cocos nucifera and was described as Diplorhinotrichum species (Tubaki 1958). In 1983, de Hoog and Hennebert included it in the genus Isthmolongispora after examining its morphological character. In this study, A. ampulliforma is phylogenetically close to A. minifimbriata and they are very similar in morphology. Therefore, we assigned it in the newly-established genus Antidactylaria as a new combination.
