Remarks: this species was reported from the localities of Szvinyica and Berzászka (now in Romania) by Daday (1889a). Reexamination of this material revealed that the specimens belong to Neobisium (N.) sylvaticum . Consequently, M. manicatum is excluded from the fauna list of Romania.

Remarks: Obisium seminudum was described by Tömösváry and Daday from the southern Carpathian Mts (now in Romania) (Daday 1880), but no further records of this species have since been reported. The whereabouts of the type specimen is unknown, and it was probably not deposited in the HNHM or were lost (Novák & Dányi 2018). The identity of type specimens cannot be established from the original description, Neobisium seminudum is regarded as a nomen dubium.
