Other distribution: Indonesia (Java), Malaysia (E. & W.). Intercepted in Japan in timber from East Malaysia. (3)

Biology: Recorded from Octomeles (Datiscaceae), Parartocarpus (Moraceae) and rattans (Palmae). Probably polyphagous. The gallery system consists of branched tunnels in one transverse plane (Kalshoven 1959).
