Other distribution: Indonesia (Java, Maluku), Malaysia (E. & W.). Intercepted in Japan in timber from East Malaysia and Maluku. (3)
Biology: Polyphagous (Browne 1961a). The gallery system is typical of the genus. Browne (1961a) gives some details of brood sizes and development.
