Thai distribution: S: Surat Thani. The specimen from Chiang Mai recorded by Beaver and Browne (1975) was misdetermined, and should be referred to D. haberkorni . Hence the species is correctly recorded here for the first time from Thailand.

Other distribution: Indonesia (Java), Japan, Malaysia (E. & W.), New Guinea, Philippines. (3)
Biology: Polyphagous (Browne 1961a). The gallery system of this species may include brood chambers (Browne 1961a).
