Discussion. Based on fragments of a small, moderately slender species with weak angulation below mid-whorl and delicate spiral sculpture. Kojumdgieva in Kojumdgieva & Strachimirov (1960) suggested a relation with Oligodia spirata (Brocchi, 1814) . This might be correct for the syntypes illustrated in Friedberg (1909) but the shallow lateral sinus of the specimen illustrated in Friedberg (1914) contradicts this identification.
The name Turritella pulchra Friedberg, 1909 is potentially problematic. Only four years before Friedberg (1909), Sowerby (1905) established Protoma (Protomella) pulchra for an extant South African species, which is currently considered a junior synonym of Turritella capensis Krauss, 1848 (Vos & Sartori 2015).
Distribution. Central Paratethys. Badenian (middle Miocene): Carpathian Foreland Basin: Dryszczów (Nadrichne) Ukraine (Friedberg 1909).
