Tetraponera ambigua (Emery, 1895)

Tetraponera bifoveolata (Mayr, 1895) (synonym, see: Ward, 2006).

Specimens examined: Sharjah Desert Park, 15.iii.2005, CAC.

Distribution: Widespread over the whole of Africa. In the Arabian Peninsula recorded as T. bifoveolata from Saudi Arabia and Yemen. New to the UAE.
