Distribution: Known from the Meditteranean area. Recorded from the UAE (al-Ain and Abu Dhabi) by Collingwood, Tigar & Agosti (1997). Also known from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman and Kuwait. In Saudi Arabia, it is distinctly widely distributed in the central region (Riyadh and areas around).
