Frisilia compsostoma Meyrick, 1921; 87; Janse 1954: 363. TL: Zimbabwe. [TMSA].

Adult. (Fig. 3D). See Janse (1954, Pl. 157, Fig. 1 - adult; Pl. 161, Fig. 4 & 5 - venation). Wingspan 18 mm.

Diagnosis. Male genitalia (see Janse (1954, Pl. 161, Fig. 6 - line drawing; Pl. 172, Fig. 4 - photo). Characterized by having a slender, needle-like process at base of the valva ventrally and the aedeagus with a pair of strong spines: a larger one about half the length of the aedeagus and a smaller one much shorter than half the length of the longer one.
