Other Cylindroiulus species in Tunisia

In addition to C. attemsi, C.algerinus and C. mitta n.sp., the Tunisian fauna includes two further Cylindroiulus species which are not members of the C. distinctus group, viz., C. tunetanus and C. truncorum . Among other characters, the presence of a paracoxal process in both species (Fig. 14–15, px) definitely excludes them from the C. distinctus group, cf. also Read (2005).
