Stethorus silvestris Chazeau, 1995: 123 .
Endemic to New Caledonia, recorded from the west coast and southern part of Grande Terre, it has been collected in canopy of both rain forest on ultramafic soils (Rivière Bleue) and sclerophyllous forest (Mt Nondoué) (Chazeau et al. 1995). Mite prey items are unknown.
