Micraspis vittipennis (Fauvel)

Coelophora vittipennis Fauvel, 1903: 328 . Micraspis vittipennis: Chazeau 1978: 68 .

To date, this species is only known from a single type specimen (female), with no precise locality (see Chazeau 1978). Fauvel (1903) underlined differences with M. lineola, but the lack of male specimen precludes identification of its relationships with M. vittipennis, M. frenata and the four other Micraspis recorded from Australia. We consider this species still as a valid endemic one.
