Type locality and specimens. ♀. Aus der Ebene am Longidoberge, Massai-Land.

Dimensions. Long. 22–23mm [14.01; 18.51].

Type material. Holotype ♀ (ZMH-A0000170).

Collection remarks. The German ‘Massai-Land’ refers to the area occupied by the Massai people, spanning the region south of Nairobi in southern Kenya down to the Kiteto District in northern Tanzania. Nevertheless, the type locality refers to the flatlands at the base of Mount Longido in northern Tanzania, which Fischer passed on his journey back to the coast.
