Type locality and specimens. Tertiary Baltic amber forest; Baltic amber from central Europe. The exact locality is unknown but may have been in the vicinity of Kaliningrad.
Dimensions. ♂ Total length 5,03mm.
Type material. Holotype 1 ♂, potentially subadult.
Remarks. This specimen is part of the Carsten Gröhn collection held in the Geological-Paleontological Collection of the Center of Natural History (No. 4312). The fossil is of Eocene (38–54 mya) age and one of only two solifuges currently known from Baltic amber (Dunlop et al. 2004, Dunlop & Klann, 2009).
