Type material. Holotype: CHINA: Yunnan: male (SWU), Liude Township [六德乡], Yongsheng County [永胜 县], Lijiang City [丽江市], 2400m, 11.VII.1984, Shu-Yong Wang leg. Paratype: 1 male (SWU), same data as the holotype .
Diagnosis. E. f. yongshengensis subsp. nov . can be distinguished from the nominotypical subspecies by the denser maculae on tegmina (while scattered in nominotypical subspecies) and brownish coloration (while dark brown in nominotypical subspecies).
Description. Male. General: measurements (mm): body length: 15.9–18.2, overall length: 28.0–28.1, pronotum length×width: 4.4–4.5×7.5–7.7, tegmen length: 24.3–24.4. Small, slender; body brown, tegmina hyaline, maculated (Fig. 10 G–H). Head: vertex black, face dark brown. Interocular space moderate. Ocelli large, ocelli ridge curved, upper pubescent. Frons dark brown, yellowish laterally, median light brown, wrinkled. Antennae dark brown. Clypeus distinct; ante-clypeus yellow; post-clypeus dark brown, lateral margins yellow.
