Capnogryllacris (Dictyogryllacris) reticulata uzeliana (Griffini, 1915a)

Material examined. Sri Lanka: Peradeniya, leg. Dr. Uzel— 1 female (type) (Wien NHMW) .
Additional Description. Medium sized species. Head: Face ovoid; forehead nearly smooth with scattered impressed dots and fine riffles; fastigium verticis wider than scapus.
Wings surpassing stretched hind tibia. Tegmen (Fig. 52L): Radius with two branches, both forked near tip; media anterior free from base, single-branched; cubitus anterior at base with a single branch that forks into two veins, the anterior branch makes a curvature and receives an oblique connection vein from MA and shortly after divides again into two parallel branches, MP and CuA1, while the posterior branch, CuA2, does not divide further; cubitus posterior undivided, free throughout; with 4 anal veins, the last two with common base.
Coloration. General color medium reddish brown; head and pronotum black. Face black. Tegmen semitransparent whitish, in basal area and along R yellow, behind that spot in central area faintly infumate; main veins yellow or brown, in central area of almost same color as infumation; cross veins in anterior area to about R dark brown to black and bordered by black or dark brown infumation, same pattern also between anal veins but less distinct and not within yellow spot; in central area veinlets light brown; hind wing semi-transparent whitish, first main veins (to R or M) yellow, others light brown; cross veins light to dark brown, in anterior area bordered by narrow dark bands, pattern fading towards tip.
Female. Seventh abdominal sternite somewhat distorted in specimen; sclerotised part wider than long; separated from subgenital plate by a membranous zone. Subgenital plate roughly semi-circular but apical margin in middle very faintly concave; base depressed. Ovipositor elongate, curved; tip subacute.
Measurements after Griffini (1915a) (1 female).—body w/o wings: 29; pronotum: 5.4; tegmen: 43.7; hind femur: 16.6; ovipositor: 19.6 mm.
