Psilogryllacris Karny, 1937

Type species: Gryllacris dalbertisi Griffini, 1909e

Discussion. I studied a single specimen of the genus, the female from Sulawesi in NHMW that Karny (1931c) regarded as " allotype " of " G. d'albertisi ". As that species had been described by Griffini (1909e) after a male holotype from New Guinea, it is doubtful if both specimens really belong to the same species. I thus do not give a more detailed description of the species. Nevertheless, as this female is a very clear example to show, that the vein that arises behind basal third of tegmen between media and cubitus results indeed from a fusion of two branches, one from media anterior and the other from cubitus anterior (Fig. 1G).
