Material examined. India: Tamil Nadu, Kodaikanal, 1.i.–31.xii.1898, leg. Decoly— 1 male (syntype) (Paris MNHN) .
Description. Small to medium sized species. Wings just cover abdomen.
Coloration. General color unicolored brown (frons, body, wings, legs).
Male. Eight and ninth abdominal tergites of nearly equal length. Ninth abdominal tergite at apical margin in central area with two short angular projections, concave in between (Fig. 70N); on underside at each apico-lateral angle with a rather short, basally stout process with narrow hooked tip (Fig. 70O). Subgenital plate nearly subquadrate, with rounded apico-lateral angles; apical margin truncate; rather short styli inserted laterally before apical margin; a medial carina and a short incision of apical margin might be due to a shrinking artifact during conservation (Fig. 70P).
