Type species: Woznessenskia finitima Gorochov, 2002
Diagnosis. Rather large species with long wings reaching about end of stretched hind tibiae. Wings hyaline, tegmen little infumate along midline and with dark brown veins. Male abdominal tergites eight and nine enlarged; ninth tergite with a pair of S-curved hooks. Tenth abdominal tergite reduced to a pair of narrow sclerites above cerci, with very long and narrow paired processes branching-off from their medial parts and bearing fine denticles at apices. Male subgenital plate with shallow emargination at apex and rather small styli. Female seventh abdominal sternite forming a pair of roundly angular blade-like lateral folds in apical area. Female subgenital plate small, with about rounded hind margin, semi-membranous, with fine transverse stripes. Ovipositor of medium length, moderately upcurved, tip obtuse.
