Material examined. Syntype (male): India: Mission Madure, 1 male (type) (Paris MNHN) .

Diagnosis. The male of this species is characterized by the ninth abdominal tergite, which is divided at apex and carries at both sides of divided area a rather small/narrow upcurved hook (Fig. 6G). The subgenital plate has the apical margin between the bases of the styli prolonged into an oval projection reaching tips of styli and is then down-curved in a 90°-angle towards subacute tip (Figs. 6 G–I).
