Typus generis: Aancistroger sinicus Bey-Bienko, 1957

Diagnosis. Small, long winged species without striking coloration. Hind tibia with dorso-internal apical spur markedly larger than dorso-external spur. Male subgenital plate without styli or styli fully fused with subgenital plate ( A. elbenioides). Male abdominal apex with projections from ninth or from ninth and tenth tergite.
