Material examined. Vietnam: Tonkin, Lang Son Province, Than-Moi (currently Dong Mo), (21°33'N, 107°1'E), 1.vi.–31.vii.1892, coll. H. Fruhstorfer det. H. Karny— 1 female (labeled " Allotype " by H. Karny), 1 male (London BMNH); same data— 1 male (Wien NHMW) .

Remark. The types of species described by Krausze are lost. The specimens studied have been identified by H.H. Karny.

Diagnosis. Wings rather short, in both sexes not reaching tip of abdomen (Figs. 21 J–K). Male ninth abdominal tergite with two pairs of projections above apical margin; dorsal projections black, lobate with convex external surface; ventral projections narrow styliform, substraight with acute tip (Fig. 22J). Male subgenital plate furrowed in midline, with sub-angular apical margin; styli inserted at apical lateral angles. Female seventh abdominal sternite little lobularly prolonged from hind margin; subgenital plate swollen on both sides, flat in central area of basal half; apical margin terminating into a pair of acute lateral angles, rather widely separated from each other (Fig. 24H); ovipositor strongly bent in subbasal area, afterwards only faintly curved, nearly straight; with subapical widening (Figs. 22 K–L).
