DISTRIBUTION: N. Angola; S. Zaire; Cameroon; Central African Repulic.
COMMENT: Includes congicus and luluanus as synonyms and cahni as a subspecies; see Meester, 1974, Part 1.3:5, who placed this species in Chlorotalpa . Included in Chrysochloris by Allen, 1939, Checklist of African Mammals, Bull. Mus. Comp. Zool., 83:1 -763; included in Amblysomus by Simonetta, 1968, Monitore Zool.
