Allometopon (Allometopon) fumipenne, Frey, 1960: 21 [type information, catalogue, World].

Description. General: (Figs 302, 303) Body length 3.0mm. Arista short plumose. M1+2 ratio 2.7. First flagellomere slightly enlarged on ventral half. Male unknown.

Chaetotaxy: Three fronto-orbitals, anterior seta approximately 3/5 length of mid seta (posterior setae absent). Ocellar seta nearly twice length of tubercle; postvertical apparently missing, but minute sockets evident. Interfrontal seta small but well-developed. First flagellomere with longer hairs along margin. Anterior dorsocentral half length of posterior dorsocentral; closely spaced posteriorly; additional, slightly smaller seta medial to anterior dorsocentral on visible left side (likely enlarged setula). Acrostichal seta not visible if present [possibly destroyed by pin]. One lateral scutellar seta.

Colour: Setae brown. Head yellow in ground colour, paler below antenna with gena, parafacial and postgena whitish; gena and parafacial tomentose; first flagellomere brown above arista base; posterolateral corner of frons brown, encompassing base of vertical setae and extending anteriorly as a thin stripe to base of posterior frontoorbital; ocellar tubercle dark brown, and thin medial stripe extending from vertex through tubercle, fading to midpoint of frons; back of head brown above foramen. Notum brown with anterolateral margin of notopleuron, ventral half of postpronotum and katatergite yellow, and scutum with medial yellow stripe not reaching dorsocentral row or anterior margin. Pleuron and legs yellow. Wing dusky, slightly clearer posteriorly. Halter yellow. Abdomen brown with cercus and possibly segment 10 yellow.
