Description. General: (Figs 291, 292) Body length approximately 3.2mm. Head, right foreleg and left hindleg missing. One wing missing, one curled wing glued to minuten base. Arista short-haired, possibly pubescent. Female unknown.
Chaetotaxy: Two fronto-orbital setae. Two dorsocentral setae (missing), with sockets closely set posteriorly and anterior socket smaller. Acrostichal seta absent. One lateral scutellar seta.
Colour: Head yellow with frons darker. Scutum yellow with large brown region along anterior margin that extends onto anterior half of postpronotum (excluding lateral margin); with large brown postsutural spot extending laterally to intra-alar row and not reaching suture; markings ill-defined along margins. Scutellum brown dorsally, becoming yellow laterally and ventrally. Metanotum brown to slightly yellowish with katatergite darker. Pleuron and legs light yellow with large brown spot on anepisternum. Wing dusky. Halter yellow. Abdomen yellow with tergites 2 to epandrium dark brown; distal margin of epandrium yellow.
Male terminalia: (Fig. 292) Not dissected, but epandrium relatively wide, stout. Surstylus with wide base and apex hook-like, being strongly pointed and curved anteriorly; with irregular to straight row of tubercle-like setae along posterior margin. Paraphallus and distiphallus protruding, appearing similar to A. giallo .
Distribution: Taiwan.
