Vernacular Names: Hodgson's Giant Flying Squirrel.

Synonyms: Petaurista hodgsoni Ghose and Saha 1981 .

Distribution: Tibet (China), Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim (India).

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (nt).

Discussion: Formerly included nobilis (Ellerman and Morrison-Scott, 1966:464); but also see Ghose and Saha (1981:95).
