Distribution. Lebanon. Palestine, Syria (Linsenmaier 1959; Strumia & Fallahzadeh 2015).

Remarks. Linsenmaier (1959) and Kimsey & Bohart (1991) considered athalia Balthasar, 1953 an unavailable name, but the taxon has been correctly described and the name is valid and available. The replacement name filiafacialis Linsenmaier, 1959 has to be considered unnecessary.
