Sarcophaga trifolia Villeneuve, 1910 in Becker, 1910: 146. Type locality: Yemen, Socotra Archipelago, Socotra, Ra’s Shoab.

Distribution. Yemen (Socotra).

Remarks. Listed from Saudi Arabia by Abu-Zoherah et al. (1993, as Pseudodiscachaeta trifolia without further data). The nominal species is only known from the type locality, and it is in in need of a taxonomic revision (Pape 1996), but it has not been possible to trace the type material. The nominal species was not mentioned by Verves & Khrokalo (2018).
