Material. Bionomics. Facultative mycetobiont, it occurs on carpophores of fungi (not infrequently of resupinate type), on rotten wood and in forest cover. Larvae and imagos feed on portions of fruit body of fungi.
Distribution. Europe, Near East, Asia Minor, Western Siberia (Schülke & Smetana 2015).
