Notes.
1. Coleus kisanfuensis De Wild. was unplaced in Paton et al. (2019), because the original materials had not been found. The materials were misfiled in BR as “ Coleus hockii De Wild. ” (which is Coleus betonicifolius var. kasomenensis (De Wild.) Meerts & A. J. Paton). The specimen [BR 0000008109613] indeed bears a label handwritten by De Wildeman as “ Coleus hockii De Wild. ”, but this is obviously a mistake, because the protologue of C. kisanfuensis clearly refers to C. buchananii, not to C. betonicifolius .
2. Lectotypification of Coleus kisanfuensis De Wild. De Wildeman (1921 b) cited two syntypes, i. e. A. Hock s. n. (syntype BR [BR 0000008109613]), DR. Congo, Kisanfu, Sep 1911 and A. Hock s. n. (syntype BR [BR 0000008732835] and [BR 0000008730572]), Elisabethville [Lubumbashi], Sep 1911. The three sheets match the protologue. We designate [BR 0000008730572] as the lectotype because it does not bear the erroneous name Coleus hockii De Wild.
