Megalobrachium poeyi (Guérin-Méneville, 1855)

Global distribution. Western Atlantic: From eastern Florida, Gulf of Mexico, Greater Antilles , Virgin Islands and Lesser Antilles, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela to São Paulo, Brazil.

Records in Cuba. Cuba is the type locality, other specimens from Santiago de Cuba (Santiago de Cuba Bay and Aguadores) (Diez & Jover 2015).
