Cycnidolon obliquum Martins, 1969

Cycnidolon obliquum Martins, 1969: 852; Monné, 2023a: 529 (cat.).

Remarks. This species was described based on specimens from Venezuela (Monaguas, Bolivar), Bolivia (Santa Cruz), and Brazil (Pará, Goiás, and Mato Grosso). The type locality is Três Lagoas (Fazenda Dr. José Mendes). Martins & Galileo (2007) corrected the state of type locality, as well as the state of some paratypes (Salobra [district of Miranda]) (translated): “ Holotype [symbol of male], Brazil, Mato Grosso do Sul: Três Lagoas (Fazenda Dr. José Mendes) …;” and “ Mato Grosso do Sul: Salobra, 4 [symbol of male], 5 [symbol of female] …” However, Monné (2023a) and Tavakilian & Chevillotte (2023) still reported the state of the type locality as Mato Grosso. Currently, it is known from Venezuela, French Guiana, Brazil (Pará, Mato Grosso, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Maranh„o, Ceará, Piauí, Bahia, and Minas Gerais), Peru, Bolivia (Santa Cruz), and Paraguay (Bezark 2023b; Monné 2023a; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2023).
